Instructions
Huntin' Hoist Safety Precautions:
Read these safety precautions before using the Huntin' Hoist!

Warning! Failure to follow these safety instructions can result in serious injury.

•Never wrap the Huntin' Hoist around any part of your body.
•Finger amputation and rope burns can occur when not using this product according to directions.
•Gloves should always be worn to prevent rope burns.
•When pulling a gun into your stand attach the hoist to the stock so that the muzzle faces the ground as you pull the gun to yourself.
•Never lift a loaded weapon and never lift a weapon when you're loaded.

Intended Use:
•The Huntin' Hoist is not designed for heavy loads(in excess of fifteen pounds.)
•Never disassemble the Huntin' Hoist. It has a pretensioned spring that can cause serious injury if removed from its housing.
Caring for your Huntin' Hoist
•The Huntin' Hoist is designed to stand up to the rigors of the outdoors, but like the rest of your gear it will age more gracefully when kept indoors, out of the weather, between hunts. If your Huntin' Hoist rope gets wet, extend it and allow it to air dry before reeling it back in.

The Gear Cinch:
•The Cinch is a patent pending fastening mechanism developed especially for the Huntin' Hoist. It was developed in response to feedback from hunters and outdoorsmen all over the country who felt the weakest link is getting their gear into the tree was the plastic clasps on hunters utility ropes. They didn't want a noisy steel clip.

Using The Gear Cinch:

•The Cinch is designed to transfer the load back to the rope which is the strongest link between you and your gear. The rope conforms to any shape and cinches tighter as more energy is applied to it. For most objects just pull the rope out of the bottom of the cinch and choke it around your gun stock or whatever . In the case of bows, lift the cap out of the cinch and pass it around the bowstring or limb while holding the body of the cinch in your other hand. Now just replace the cap and you're ready to hoist. It's a cinch!

Attachment to treestands:
•Mount the Huntin' Hoist to any of the Nylon Webbing on your stand using the belt clip attachment. The belt clip may be rotated in ninety degree increments by loosening the center screw one quarter of an inch and then retightening when in the desired position. Install the clip vertically for trouser or fanny pack belts, or horizontally for the belting that holds your climbing treestand seat.
•When mounting the Huntin' Hoist choose a spot on your stand that allows the rope to come out of the unit without getting tangled around you or the tree as you climb. It is advisable to mount the Huntin' Hoist on the top portion of a two piece climbing stand or in a location within arms reach while sitting. Bending over to access the hoist could result in loss of balance and serious injury.
•IF your treestand has no webbing or belting you can attach the Huntin' Hoist to the frame of your stand with cable ties or zip ties "plastic ties". Pass a couple of sturdy ties through the belt clip and cinch them around the frame of your stand.

Other mounting ideas:
•When hauling up more than one item such as a day pack and bow and arrow use multiple Huntin' Hoists. Mount one Huntin' Hoist to your treestand as described above and a second hoist to your day pack. Attach the hoist on your stand to your day pack and the hoist on your day pack to your bow or gun. This makes hoisting safer because of weight limitations and rope burn hazards associated with trying to pull up everything at once. As an added bonus by bringing up one thing at a time you may situate yourself in the stand safely before pulling up your bow or gun.

Lanyard Attachment point:
•The rectangular slot near the top of the Huntin' Hoist is a lanyard attachment point. Pass the lanyard of your choice through the slot and fasten the Huntin' Hoist to almost anything.

You are going to love this Huntin' Hoist
It will become an important part of your hunt, making your hunting experience safer and more enjoyable than ever.
