A larger side pockets in the bat wings for easy access of quickly needed items. A pocket has been added to the top of the front of the pack for more storage with quick access. A stow away meat sac support stores in the bottom of the pack in it's own pocket until you need it. This also makes the pack visible from the rear while hunting with a rifle. So what makes this pack so special? It all starts with a phenomenal suspension and frame system, and a pack bag that lets you carry everything so close to your body you'll forget you have it on. The 2800 series has gone through some significant changes in 2003. The 2800 has taken on the concept that Badlands pioneered, the Split Pack. Never have to worry about what to do with your gear once you have been successful on your hunt and need to pack out the meat and cape. Simply undo a couple of buckles and the pack splits open leaving your gear in the specially designed pockets, where it was already packed, and opening a space in the middle of the pack to strap a quarter on to the polycarbonate frame. We have always chosen to offer only a few items and focus on making them the very best. However, every once in a while a concept emerges that creates enough excitement that die-hard purists. This pack offers full-length zippers on side pocket which allows quick access to the contents of both side pockets to hold tripods and the like. The 2800 still has full hydration capabilities.
